Charlottesville horse farms and the Keswick Horse Show

There are many reasons why a Charlottesville horse farm is the perfect equestrian property.  Many of our local horse owners have show hunters and jumpers.  The availability of horseshows within a reasonable drive is an important consideration to these farm buyers.  There is an A show within a two hour drive of Charlottesville almost every week of the year.  In addition there are several local show series which hold events year round.  Charlottesville is in the middle of Virginia horse country.

Competing At The Keswick Horse Show

Among local horse owners a favorite show is the Keswick Hunt Club Horse Show.  Many Charlottessville horse farms are represented showing their horses at Keswick.  The show ring under the trees provides the a lovely setting for the magnificent horses to perform in.

Glenmore Homes – A Charlottesville Golf Community

If golf is your passion, buying a Glenmore home may be the perfect solution for both you and your family.
Glenmore homes are located in a gated community just east of Charlottesville Virginia in Keswick.  This Charlottesville golf community was constructed on the site of a stately Virginia horse farm.  Glenmore is a beautiful neighborhood of gracious homes, set in the gently rolling landscape with scenic views.  The neighborhood was planned around 500 acres of common land  preserving the feel of country living without the upkeep of a lot of property .

An 18 hole championship golf course designed by nationally renowned golf course architect John LaFoy is at the heart of the community.
While you enjoy living in a Charlottesville golf community your family will enjoy all of the amenities that the Glenmore Country Club and the Glenmore lifestyle have to offer.  The country club has everything your family could want.  In addition to golf, there are 12 tennis courts, a pool complex, fitness center, walking and riding paths and an attached equestrian center.  The lovely Georgian designed Glenmore Country club offers excellent dining.
There is a varity of Glenmore homes for sale in a wide range of prices, sizes and styles which go from Glenmore cottages up to large luxury golf course homes.  This is not a development of “cookie cutter” homes.

If you would like to build your own dream home, that is also an option in Glenmore.  There is a selection of lots for sale where you can bring your own builder and construct your dream home in Glenmore.  Some of these are golf course lots with excellent views of the play.
If a Charlottesville golf community is what you are looking for, don’t miss the opportunity to tour Glenmore.
